Does Crossing Acheron have a HEA?

No, there isn’t a happily ever after (yet). Crossing Acheron is the first in a multi-book series which WILL end in an HEA, but Crossing Acheron ends with unresolved emotions. It doesn’t, however, end on a steep cliffhanger. It finishes naturally where it needs to, and I personally find it satisfying while still being enough open-ended to support the sequels.

When will the next book in Kin & Kine come out?

I am currently writing Book 2, Hare Underneath. Each book takes me about a year to write, not including editing and prep for publishing. Hare Underneath is on track for a June 2024 (possibly earlier!) release, all things permitting.

I know it’s a long ways off, and I’m sorry for that (if I could write faster, I would!). You can join my reader’s group HG Birde’s Nest for snippets and other material to tide you over, if you like.
